The 15 points saga that’s surrounded Leeds United all season comes to what should be it’s ultimate climax next month, and the bookies are expecting the arbitration judge to return at least some of the points back to Leeds.
A flurry of bets on Leeds receiving none of the points back has done little to alter the bookies view with the odds shortening only slightly from 11-2 to 11-4.
The shortest odds of 6-4 favour Leeds to get 6 or 10 points returned. The more optimistic amongst us can get 7-2 on Leeds having all 15 points returned.
A return of six points or more would see Leeds firmly back amongst the playoff candidates, but even without any points restored Leeds fans saw a much improved side defeat Walsall at the weekend and will be optimistic of Leeds’ promotion chances.
In the meantime, Leeds will be looking to concentrate on this weekends crucial six-point clash with Brighton at Elland Road.
