Vale ParkFootage showing Leeds United fans causing havoc at Port Vale has been released on YouTube as Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt has demanded Leeds foot the bill.

The YouTube footage shows Leeds United fans throwing missiles and booting a bin whilst chanting taunts aimed towards Millwall fans ahead of the upcoming fixture – A match that already has potential for trouble, with the infamous hooligan elements of both clubs.

Mr Bratt claims the damage caused was around £2,000.

The Port Vale chairman also told how staff were spat at and abused, whilst the clubs catering manager pulled one young lad to safety during the disturbance.

Bill Bratt issued the following statement to the Yorkshire Evening Post;

“A minority of Leeds fans were generally creating mayhem.We had to shut the kiosks because of the behaviour of the fans.It wasn’t the behaviour you want from football supporters, or from anyone.

“If it was our supporters, I wouldn’t be at all happy. We have a reputation across the country for well-behaved fans.

“Staff shouldn’t be put in that position. They are there to do a job and serve these supporters with food and drink.

“They shouldn’t have to put up with that. I just find it abhorrent.

“Having said that, a lot of Leeds supporters were well behaved. I have no wish to decry the majority.”

A spokesman for Leeds United said the club had yet to hear from Port Vale, but would investigate the situation if approached.
